Today ih8sn0w released a new update to its tool Sn0wbreeze to 2.8b11. The update is not any new or Untethered Jailbreak. It is the same old Tethered Jailbreak. This update mainly focuses those people who are willing to update to iOS 5.0.1 to fix Battery issues on their iDevice.

The update of iOS 5.0.1 was released by Apple the day before to fix the known issues, battery issues and the bug which was found by Charlie Miller, to Untether iOS 5.0. If you are one of those who want to update to iOS 5.0.1 and fix the battery issues, So we would advise that stay away from the update. The waring was not giving by us only but the Dev Team member, MuscleNerd also warned to stay away from the update of iOS 5.0.1 because there is no way back down to iOS 5.0 or below. If you also want to get Untethered Jailbreak, So stay on iOS 5.0.

Like we mentioned before that no new support for iDevices is added in this version. The iDevices support won’t be added until there is a Bootrom exploit found for them. Once the Untethered Jailbreak is out, For sure this tool will be updated to add the support for the new Untethered Jailbreak.
