iOS 5.0.1 Untethered Jailbreak Possible As Soon As iOS 5.0.2 Release

Thousands of people especially Apple users are asking on Facebook and Twitter pages and over blogs and forums about iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak for iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, iPad and iPad 2 and when will it release as they really can’t hardly wait for the jailbreak. We will indicate the status of iOS 5 untethered jailbreak in detail after the jump.

Previous week we showed you a report about the security researcher Charlie Miller who discovered a security flaw in iOS firmware that will be used specially to make the iOS 5 untethered jailbreak on iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, 3G, iPad 2 and iPad.

This exploit has been discovered in the software which means that it can be easly fixed in iOS update so that the well-known iPhone hacker Pod2g warned people from updating to iOS 5.0.1 as it may carry a fix for the founded exploit. So far we don’t know if Apple fixed the security flow or not on iOS 5.0.1 update.

Note: If you are using iOS 5 stay away from iOS 5.0.1 update or iOS 5.0.2 which confirmed to be released next week. If you are running iOS 5.0.1, there is nothing to do, and we hope that iOS 5.0.1 still exploitable but stay away from iOS 5.0.2 until we have a confirmation from hackers.

Till now there is no definite release date for any untethered jailbreak. And we don’t expect that anyone of the hacker may give any dates before iOS 5.0.2 public release. So stay tuned with us and we will cover you with any news as soon as they released.
