After seeding two or more betas of iOS 5.0.1 to developers, Apple has releases the iOS 5.0.1 to general public for iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPad, iPad 2 and iPod Touch. The new iOS 5.0.1 is available to download from Apple’s Software Update program inside the Mac OS X. The new update is not available yet through the OTA update of iOS 5. You can download the new version of iOS 5.0.1 to fix the most annoying bug of iOS 5 battery life time.

Apple has issued the new iOS 5.0.1 with some security patches to fix the iPad 2 smart cover security bug and to fix the iOS 5 battery issues.
